CREATIVE: ARCADE FIRE – MIROIR NOIR MICROSITE
The microsite for GRAMMY award-winning artists Arcade Fire was done on short notice and with rapid turnaround. The primary goal was to preserve the original art direction done for the project, while enhancing passive SEO characteristics. Typography was critical to the Arcade Fire team; image replacement of text was used via CSS to retain the aesthetic while sacrificing none of the search engine benefits of having text in the document.
This campaign was very successful, and search engine traffic accounted for a large portion of this campaign’s traffic. Additionally, the Miroir Noir microsite easily became the top result when searching for “Miroir Noir”.
